Legendary Pop-Punk band Bowling For Soup are back and this time they have teamed up with L.A. duo able machines, for their own take on Elastica's 'Connection'. The music video, a retro sci-fi inspired mini movie

with laser fight scenes, classic actor plays character credits and futuristic clothing includes filming locations from Star Trek so if you are a trekkie, make sure you check it out."I have always loved this song! We use to play it in the Van non stop! One day I was listening to a new able machines song and just thought…My best friend, Bowling For Soup’s producer, Linus of Hollywood is in an Electronic band! We should do this “Connection” together! Even the song

title is perfect for this collab! Luckily, Linus and Tay liked the idea, and ran with it! I am so stoked for how this turned out…The video is next level!" - Jaret Reddick. Tay and Linus have an incredible resume between them, working with the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Cheap Trick, ghost writing for Capitol Records and having a hand in the Buffy The Vampire Slayer theme song. Riding on any wave, That is the luck you crave, They don't believe it, now, Just think

it's stupid, So, got anything, Anyone could have done? Who would've cared at all? Not you! I made a point to listen to the original first to see where we were moving from and while there is a nod to the original, it is definitely a modern electro-pop interpretation. The futuristic "alien" keyboard and sci-fi laser gun sounds filled my kiddish heart with joy, being pulled back to the sci-fi shows of old. Riding on anything, Anything's good enough, Who would've thought it of? Someone like you, Just as they've brought me 'round, Now that they've brought you down, Roundaboutin' 'round about, Who wants a life anyway? Tay and Jaret's voices create a dynamic sarcastic sound

complimenting each other and flowing smoothly together. Tay has a pleasant grit to her voice which brings some vocal "weight" bringing it closer to the original track. Musically 'Connection' is high energy pure dance material. If you like to flip your hair while you jump and dance around your house, this is definitely the track for you. Another heart has made the grave, Forget it, forget it, forget it, They don't understand how the last card is played, But somehow the vital connection is made, Whore, Whore, Whore.
