Meanjin/Brisbane Pop-Punk band All Hours has returned with their second track, 'Forever Meant Nothing' off of the forthcoming Album 'Everything In Between', set for release on November 6th. 'Forever Meant Nothing' follows the Single 'Let Me Go' (which you can read our review

here), a commentary piece on life with anxiety. Forever meant nothing when we were young, I held you but my hands left feeling numb. Forever Meant Nothing tells the story of short-lived relationships of your youth, filled with empty promises, reminiscing on memories of your time together and the lessons you learnt along the way. The song holds a light and open sound that filled me with nostalgia and memories of hot Summer days spent at the skate park and beach. Forever Meant Nothing holds the same energy as 'Here Today, Gone Tomorrow' by Silverstein, as you are pulled back into the feeling of memories of past love and separation. Young and free, that was you and me, And our lives they intertwined all so easily, Put our hearts on the line, Being reckless with our time, With everything to lose, I tried so hard to

lose you. Distorted guitars and vocal effects greet you as you enter the track, quickly swinging into the powerful vocals of Dani, upbeat guitars and high energy drums. The vocal pause roughly two-thirds through the track gives the perfect space for you to fall into your memories and feel the instrumentals completely. Dani's vocals throughout Forever Meant Nothing hold the nature of "bittersweet" as you hear the light aspects of young love, while a disgruntled tone lingers under the surface of her dropped tone.

"This record is a massive milestone for us, and the excitement of finally putting it out into the world is an incredible feeling," the band says. "We poured absolutely everything we had into making this record—every ounce of our energy, frustration, and passion is tracked into these songs. The wait is finally over, and we can’t wait for everyone to finally hear it."
