Do you fear death? Do you fear that dark abyss? All your deeds laid bare. All your sins punished. I can offer you an escape. Escape with me into the minds of Roronoah who have released their second single 'Crimson

Smile' since their EP 'Accustomed to Hurt' dropped in July 2025. This time we receive the added bonus of Daniel Macdonald of Body Prison featuring on the track, and you will not be disappointed by the combination.
“To me, this song paints a really dark and aggressive picture, while writing this I was heavily inspired by the legend of Davy Jones. The Guitar layers and use of the organ really portray the menacing nature we were hoping to achieve, and Dan’s guest vocals make it all the more devastating.” - Ryan, Guitar
Rip and tear, Violence beyond compare, Blood in the air, You stomach the

steel I bare. Crimson Smile begins with an eerie Davey Jones inspired organ piece before throwing you into a bloodbath. I want to talk about my favourite part of this track, and it begins at minute 3.28 with an earth shattering gutteral that transforms into a series of feral vocals and underlying music which brings a flash back of The Flying Dutchman plunging into the ocean, the waves rushing up to meet you as you are thrust into the icy depths of the sea. I'm Leaving scars on your body so memories never leave you're not forgetting me. Constantly running that mouth, a permanent smile, i'll be leaving it cheek to cheek. This track is absolutely insane from the

beginning all the way to the end and I listened to it more times than I care to mention just to hear everything that is happening in the layering. I have said it before and I will say it again, for a group so early in their career they have an art for story telling and are overall incredible musicians. From the Double Kick Jesus in the form of Jude absolutely rattling you with his skill and unrelenting presence, to the technical prowess of the string section with Ryan, Corie

and Josh, dragging you by the throat through their tale, applying pressure with their oppressing and formidable rhythm. You've Lost your God damn head, Lost in the sea of regret, You've lost your God damn head, Crimson Smile. Now we come to the point that I know you have been hanging out for. How and when does Daniel come into play? Dan comes into the song at 2.04 and unleashes some of the filthiest vocals in Australian heavy music right now. So heavy they

wouldn't feel out of place at the depths of the Mariana Trench. The combination of Kalani and Dan's vocals match incredibly well, flowing effortlessly within one another as they do a back and forth. Experience ecstasy, When Blood is pouring from your teeth, The Piercing screams they sound so sweet, Lost in the sea of regret, You've lost your God damn head. I will forever be impressed on what Australian music has to offer and I absolutely love all of the

collaborations that are happening within the scene, pushing it forward and helping bands to cross fan bases. The Voices are speaking that There is no Leaving, Why don't you repeat it, Tell me you need, Blegh! I managed to see Roronoah live three times last year (With Kalani a fourth on the stage with Arkángel) and seeing their their professionalism and overall stage presence has me keen to see Judgement and Crimson Smile translated onto the stage.
