We are on to our fourth addition of Aussie bands you should be listening to and it is another blend of local talents from a variety of genres and locations. You can read Vol I here, Vol II here and Vol III here for more new finds. New band list day is always a good day, so let's not waste any more time and jump straight into 15 more Australian bands you should know.
Mournmaker
Mournmaker is an up and coming Deathcore band from Meanjin/Brisbane. They have two singles to their name, Snake Skin (2024) and Sunburn (June 2026). There are now shows currently announced but you will be sure to hear about it when they do.

Patient Sixty-Seven
Boorloo/Perth Metalcore band Patient Sixty-Seven have just celebrated their tenth year after the release of Debut single Callous in June 2016. P67 have since released EPs Four Walls (2018), Home Truths (2020), Imbalance Redux (2020), Feel Alive (2022), Fault Line (2022), What If It Never Gets Better (2024) and What If It Never Gets Better (Delux Edition) (2025) alongside Albums Home Truths (Delux Edition) (2021), Wishful Thinking (2022), A Very Heavy Christmas (2025) and a plethora of singles. P67 have previously toured with bands such as, Escape The Fate, Of Mice & Men, Catch Your Breath, Hands Like Houses and Dream on Dreamer.

Spacegoat
Spacegoat is an Alt-Metal band that formed in 2018 with members from Djarra/Bendigo and Djilang/Geelong, Victoria. The band have released EPs 33 (2019) and Catharsis (2021) with several singles, including most recently Spit The Poison and Concede Defy in 2025. Spacegoat have previously appeared at ArkFést, Metal United Down Under, Autumn Vine Fest, TIC'd Off 2025 and 2026, amongst many others.

Emmy Hour
During her performance at Munk & Petal 2025, Meanjin/Brisbane solo act Emmy Hour described her music style as "Punk adjacent," and if you are a fan of stripped live performance with raw life issue discussions through your lyrics, Emmy Hour is for you. When I tell you my eyes were glued to that stage, they were GLUED. Emmy released her Demo Tape 'Life of the Party' in 2014 and has since released several singles and The Numero Uno EP in 2025. Emmy will be performing at Together in Transition on July 23rd at 6pm at The Cave Inn, Woollongabba (tickets available here) and at The Banshee Bar on August 1st at 7pm (tickets available here.)

Mirrors
Gunaikurnai/Gippsland Victoria Metalcore band Mirrors joined the scene in 2017 with their debut EP Fools Paradise. Mirrors have since released EP Cold Sanctuary (2019), Album The Ego's Weight (2021) and single Vestige (2024). Mirrors will be appearing on Hellbound II (tickets available here) With Aussie heavy hitters, Parkway Drive, I Killed The Prom Queen and The Amity Affliction. Mirrors have appeared at Froth & Fury, Ocean Sleeper Metalcore Christmas and alongside bands such as Northlane, The Devil Wears Prada and Thornhill amongst others.

Nicolas Cage Fighter
Nicolas Cage Fighter are a Metallic Hardcore band from Ballaarat, Victoria. NCF burst onto the scene in 2013 with their EP 3350 followed by EP Cast You Out (2021) and Albums The Bones That Grew from Pain (2022) and I Watch You Burn (2025). NCF recently returned home from a headlining Japan Tour and have previously appeared on Froth & Fury, Dead of Winter, Southern Death Festival, Christmas Carnage, Necrosonic Festival, Drencher Fest and supporting Bleeding Through, Dream on Dreamer amongst many others.

Sage
Sage is a Punk act from Naarm/Melbourne. "Sage uses her music to express her disgust on violence against women, homophobia, transphobia, factory farming, capitalism, social media, war and just feeling like an outcast." Sage released her debut and self-titled EP in March this year followed by single Vagrant on July 8th. You can catch Sage performing at Queers to the Front on July 18th at Bars Open Fitzroy (tickets available here), The Switch on July 25th at arc vinnar (tickets available here), with Bodyjar on July 31st at Sookie Lounge Belgrave (tickets available here) and at Transgenre IV on August 1st at Bergy Bandroom, Naarm (tickets available here).

Justice For The Damned
Gadigal/Sydney Deathcore band Justice For The Damned formed in 2011, releasing their first series of singles in 2015, unleashing their subsequent Albums Dragged Through The Dirt (2017), Pain is Power (2020) and Stay Relentless (2025) with EP No Peace At The Feet Of Your Master (2020). JFTD has previously toured alongside Thy Art Is Murder, Alpha Wolf, Polaris, Miss May I, In Hearts Wake, Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive. JFTD will be touring the UK & Europe with Guilt Trip throughout October and November.

Outer Worlds
Naarm/Melbourne Metalcore band Outer Worlds released their first single Grave Soil in 2023, followed by EP Demarcation (2024), Terraform Vol. 1 (2025) and Terraform Vol. 2 (2026). Outer Worlds will be performing at The Catfish Hotel on July 17th (tickets available here) and Unibar Adelaide on August 8th for Downpour Festival (tickets available here). Vilify
Mulubinba/Newcastle resident Metalcore band, Vilify have been releasing music since their 2020 single Habit, followed by EP Clarity (2020), Fever Dream (2024) and Save Me (2024). Vilify has previously performed on PerishFest, CvltFest, Aftermath Festival and toured alongside The Gloom in the Corner, Diamond Construct, Northlane, Deadskin and Arkángel amongst others.

Wyndfall
Wyndfall is a Metalcore band from Ngambri/Canberra. Debut Single Butterflies (2025) marked Wyndfall's entry to the scene, followed by EP The Void Between (2025). Wyndfall will be performing at The Baso-The Abyss on July 24th (tickets available here). Wyndfall have performed at Thrashville 2025 as well as with East Capri, Clay J Gladstone and St. Sinner amongst others.
New Million
New Million is a Metalcore band from Naarm/Melbourne. NM took the scene by storm in 2021 with their debut single LA CRUCIFIXION DU SOLEIL. NM has since released EP Blooming (2023) and several singles including Sanctuary (2025) and Mirror Talk (2026). NM has previously performed alongside The Last Martyr, Torizon and Illyria. Keep an eye out for tour notices.

Awaken The Hate
Sunshine Coast Groove Metal band Awaken The Hate hit the scene in 2024 with Monster in the Mirror followed by singles Reign of Fire, Contradiction of War and Planet Death in 2025 and Fucked Up in 2026. Awaken The Hate has performed at ShredFest, HeavyFest, Metal United Down Under and Round 1 of Good Things Band Competition.

The Nameless
The Nameless is a Deathcore band from Willgulga/Woolgoolga who debuted on the scene in 2022 with their EP Systemic Exploitation. They have since released Album The Descent (2023), Humanity's Demise (2024), The Nameless (2025), To Where The Wind Blows (2025), To Where The Wind Blows (Instrumental) (2025) and The Nameless (Instrumental) (2026) with EP Loss (2024). The Nameless have performed alongside Where The Devil, Hate Complex, Product of Neglect, Whisperhead, Virtues and many others.

Citizen Rat
Citizen Rat is a Punk-Metal fusion band from the Sunshine Coast who debuted with their EP Looking Down From Up Below in 2022. They have since released singles Shut My Mouth, Truth/Lie and Fry in 2025, with Happy? in 2026. Citizen Rat featured in the 2024 Good Things Band Competition as well as performing alongside Cardboard Cutouts, Fangz, Krave and Fast Johnny & the slow burners amongst others.
